A rich man was riding in the back of his limousine when he saw a man eating grass by the road side.

He ordered his driver to stop and he got out to investigate..''why are you eating grass?' he asked the man '' i dont have any money for food'' the poor man replied ''oh please come to my house'' but sir i have a wife and 4children'' ''bring them along'' the rich man said.

They all got in to the limo. Once underway, the poor fellow said ''sir you are too kind, thank you for taking all of us in. The rich man replied, "no, you don't understand, the grass at my house is over 3 meter tall, that's why I'm bringing you to my house.

Supreme Court declares late Naa Dasana Andani as rightful chief of Bimbilla

The Supreme Court has declared the late Paramount Chief of the Nanumba Traditional Area, (Bimbilla), Naa Dasana Andani, as the rightful chief of the area. Wednesday’s decision brings clarity to the protracted Bimbila chieftaincy crisis that had led to the death of many people including Naa Andani in 2014. The five-member panel of the apex court reaffirmed the decisions of the Northern Regional House of Chiefs and the National House of Chiefs that declared Naa Andani as the legitimate chief of the area. Another claimant to the Bimbilla skin, the late Nakpa Naa Salifu Dawuni, filed the appeal at the Supreme Court challenging the decision of the National House of Chiefs. But in a unanimous decision on Wednesday May 23, 2018, the Supreme Court held that Naa Andani's lineage to the Bimbilla Skin was legitimate. “We therefore find no merit in the appeal and it is dismissed in its entirety,” the court held. UDS warns students against occultism

Professor Gabriel Ayum Teye, Vice-Chancellor of the University for Development Studies (UDS) has warned students against occultism, anti-social and non-conformist activities, saying the rules of the university frown on such acts. He said: “We totally reject and will not countenance the activities of unregistered clubs and associations and occultism. The university management shall invoke the rules and regulations drastically and mercilessly on any student or group of students who engage in occultism and other anti-social and non-conformist activities.” He gave the warning during the 23rd matriculation of UDS in Tamale on Saturday where a total 4,806 students out of 13,079 applicants were admitted to pursue various undergraduate programmes for the 2015/2016 academic year.
