GES Opens 2021 Promotions Application Portal For Teachers

The management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) has opened the teachers promotions application portal for qualified persons to apply for the following ranks or grades:

• Principal Superintendent
• Assistant Director Il 
• Assistant Director I
• Deputy Director

The portal looks like it might have been unofficially opened to applicants. 

However, there is no harm to  take advantage of this opportunity to apply early since the portal stores all details of applicants which can be accessed when the portal is officially opened.

How to apply 

1. Click on Start a New Application.

2. Enter your Staff ID. 

3. Enter Phone Number

4. Select Grade/Rank.

5. Click on Start Application. 

6. Another form will pop up, with the following portions already filled:

• Application code
• Staff ID 
• Primary Phone number 
• Grade or rank applying for. 

With the warning that, 

"NB: Kindly copy and save the Application Code & Staff ID. This code will be used to access the saved application form. 

7. Complete the rest of the form by providing the following information:

• Full Name 
• Date of Birth
• Email 
• Additional Contact numbers (Optional) 

8. Click on Save and Continue. 

9. Another form will pop up, requesting for applicants to provide information about applicant’s Present School and Service Details. 

10. Present School require the following information:

• School name and address 
• Region
• District 

11. Service Details require the following information:

• Present Grade
• Masters Qualification (if any) 
• Registered Number 
• Notional Date Appointed to present Grade
• Substantive Date Appointed to present Grade
• SSNIT Number 

12. Click on Save and Continue. 

NB: Be ready to upload the necessary information to back the above information.
