A letter to a politician- Part I!

Dear politician.

It's time for another word. You have made politics a dirty word, it's like when we were kids and saying "sex" was a dirty word. May be that's why individuals with a reputation to protect are scared to be sullied with that title that's why they dont run for politician posts.

All the thieves, crooks, lazy people and dishonest people all want in, it's an easy way to make money and you don't even have to work. You can even go to sleep on the job, the seats are so comfortable and expensive. Don't worry the seats are paid for by the poor tax payers.

Lets be honest, you are not in it for the service to the poor tax payers, you are in it for yourself. So when you start advocating for the elections to be held at a certain time and say that it's on behalf of Ghanaians, who are you fooling? Why do you behave like elections are only about the presidental race? Like it's all about you and your ego.

You want to be president or parliamentarian. I don't think you have the moral, intellectual, economical capacities and etc to be president or parliamentarian. Seriously it's time to consider a career change. You manipulate people for your own ends, you even have people killed or jailed for disagreeing with you. You use power as a weapon to oppress others, instead of using power as an instrument of development and peace.

We want people who care about our country to be politicians and honesty you don't meet the criteria actually you don't meet the minimum threashold for a leader. It's time to redefine the word politician so could you start looking for another job early.

Dagbon Traditional Council  Dagboŋ Traditional Council Meets on Regional Reorganization Saturday, 23 December 2017 The Regent of Dagboŋ, and acting President of the Dagboŋ Traditional Council, Kampakuya-Naa, Andani Yakubu Abdulai called a special Expanded Council meeting to discuss the Government initiated Constitutional processes on Regional Reorganization. The Special Meeting of the Dagboŋ Traditional Council (DTC) was held at the forecourt of the Gbewaa Palace in Yendi today. 10 arrested as protesters besiege Gupke Naa’s palace

The Police Rapid Deployment Force in Tamale on Friday arrested 10 people after fighting broke out at the Gupkegu Palace in Tamale.  The fight, between palace guards and youth of choggu, who violently besieged the palace to demand release of their colleagues arrested earlier for launching a brutal arson attack on the residence of a sub-chief accused of wizardry.  Scores of the youth sustained injuries and many others fled leaving behind motorbikes and other belongings at the palace, in the open confrontation that was triggered by the illegal invasion of the palace and some comments made by the youth that the guards and warriors of the Gukpe Naa deemed “disrespectful”.  According to Secretary of the Gupke Naa, Saha-Naa Abdul Rashid, the youth caused an abomination when they drummed and sung war songs into the palace and insulted the linguist, who received and was addressing them on behalf of the Tamale overlord.  “The arrival of the Rapid Deployment Unit was a div

Gov’t Intervenes As Court Orders Auctioning Of GHANASCO Cars

The Northern Regional Director of Education, Mohammed Haroon Cambodia has confirmed government will be paying a staggering GHC400,000 as judgment debt to a private citizen in order to stop the auctioning of vehicles belonging to the Ghana Senior High School in Tamale. Government is offering the bailout following a chronic transport difficulty that has hit the school for the last two years after a court order impounded the only bus for students and a brand new official pickup vehicle. Two Nissan patrol vehicles belonging to the Education directorate were also taken by the court. The vehicles were confiscated to be auctioned to pay up salary arrears of a former headmaster of the school who accused the school and education service of injustices including inappropriate dismissal and concealing his promotion letter. Late Lionel Mahama was dismissed as headmaster of the school in 1997. His salary was blocked for years until a CHRAJ ruled in his favor and ordered his reinstateme
