Inauguration of a nine (9) member Governing board of the National Schools Inspectorate Authority (NaSIA


On Thursday 23rd of September, 2021, the Minister of Education, Hon. Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum inaugurated a nine (9) member Governing board of the National Schools Inspectorate Authority (NaSIA) at the Ministry of Education.

The Board is chaired by Professor Eugene K. M. Darteh. Professor Darteh is an expert in population and health studies. He is currently the Dean of students at the University of Cape Coast (UCC).

In hitting the ground running, Professor Darteh visited the Authority to familiarize himself with the staff. He expressed his commitment to upskilling to enable staff of NaSIA grow in their current positions so that together we can contribute towards improving learning outcomes by ensuring that all pre-tertiary schools are enforcing the highest standards and guidelines needed to attain the highest quality of education in the country.

  • Mr. John Mensah Anang, National Council for Curriculum Assessment (NaCCA) Representative
  • Dr. Damasus Tuurosong, Ghana National Association of Private Schools (GNAPS) Representative 
  • Mr. Victor de Graft-Etsison, Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) Representative
