Tamale Metropolis has gotten it’s share of CCTV installation

 


Pictures: Tamale Metropolis has gotten it’s share of the policy to install CCTV cameras at various traffic points across the country. 

The CCTV cameras were installed at vantage points as part of the Nationwide Intelligent Traffic Management System.

The system relies on a coordinated traffic signal system with digitised traffic lights and a centralised control centre where all traffic signals will be monitored and controlled to improve traffic flow, trip reliability and road safety.

The CCTV cameras which is common in most countries is also used to increase surveillance in communities and to curb the upsurge of crimes in society.
