Freedom from love?

Is there a time when love will remain still in our hearts?
Or will it move in constant motion toward an unknown?
Is there ever a time when our hearts will accept the love given?
And offer more than we have ever known without asking for more?
Is there a time, perhaps a crack in the universe where I can hide devoid of all watching eyes?
And reaching hands that only take where all pain oozes from my pores?
And escapes me where all the tears fall from my eyes onto waiting planets in need of rain?
Is there a place in this universe where I belong without want of anything?
Is there a spot that I can call my own without needing anyone?
Let me crawl into that black hole where everything disappears into oblivion's
Grasping fingertips, finally releasing me into freedom.
Freedom from love?

UDS Vice Chancellor kicks against conversion of polytechnics into universities

Vice Chancellor of the University for Development Studies (UDS) Prof. Gabriel Ayum Teye has made a case against the planned conversion of polytechnics into universities. According to him, the move will only increase the graduate unemployment population which currently stands at 300,000. This is according to data from the Institute of Statistical and Economic Research (ISSER). “Now we have 10 public universities that produce graduates and by next month we will have 16 public universities in Ghana. “So if you’re having problems with 10 and you add another 6 to it making 16 are you solving the problem or compounding it,” he queried. Prof Ayum Teye was speaking at the 22nd National Delegates’ Congress of the Graduate Students Association of Ghana (GRASAG) in Tamale. Gov’t Intervenes As Court Orders Auctioning Of GHANASCO Cars

The Northern Regional Director of Education, Mohammed Haroon Cambodia has confirmed government will be paying a staggering GHC400,000 as judgment debt to a private citizen in order to stop the auctioning of vehicles belonging to the Ghana Senior High School in Tamale. Government is offering the bailout following a chronic transport difficulty that has hit the school for the last two years after a court order impounded the only bus for students and a brand new official pickup vehicle. Two Nissan patrol vehicles belonging to the Education directorate were also taken by the court. The vehicles were confiscated to be auctioned to pay up salary arrears of a former headmaster of the school who accused the school and education service of injustices including inappropriate dismissal and concealing his promotion letter. Late Lionel Mahama was dismissed as headmaster of the school in 1997. His salary was blocked for years until a CHRAJ ruled in his favor and ordered his reinstateme
