Obukokwo asks his Teacher;

"Excuse maddad, if u mix Omo & Klin, will there be foam?"

Teacher responded, "yes of course. Why ask such a stupid question at d beginning of d year. Are you going to pass this class at all?"

Obukokwo laughs and whispers to the other kids, "how can you get foam without adding water? Are we goin to learn anythin here at all?"

Ramatu Mahama, wife of former Veep Aliu Mahama passes on at 70

Ramatu Aliu Mahama (Neè Egala), the wife of the late former Vice President Aliu Mahama, has passed on at age 70. Affectionately known as Hajia Ramatu, she died yesterday, her son, Farouk Mahama, who is also the Member of Parliament for Yendi has confirmed. "It is with deep sorrow, I announce the passing of my beloved mom, the former Second Lady of the Republic, Hajia Ramatu Aliu Mahama (neè Egala). She passed on peaceful in Accra at the Korlebu Teaching Hospital earlier this afternoon.   Farouk Mahama announced. "The family has lost a great pillar. Burial and funeral rites would be conducted in accordance with Islamic traditions. Further information will be provided in due course,"  he added. JHS student fined GH¢1,800 for assaulting teacher who punished him

An Accra Juvenile Court has sentenced a final year student of the Nungua Kroma Two Junior High School, who assaulted a teacher for punishing him, to a fine of GH¢1,800. The student, in default, would serve three months jail term. He had denied conspiring with 15 other men to assault the teacher for punishing him for his failure to do his homework, but the Court, at the end of the trial, found him guilty. The Prosecution called five witnesses to make the case. It earlier told the Court that the convict (name withheld) had refused to do his homework and after he was punished, he dashed home to call 15 other young men, who allegedly stormed the school in a Sprinter bus and attacked the teacher, inflicting wounds on his face. The teacher, Mr Moses Onyameasem, was rescued by his colleagues and rushed to the LEKMA Hospital, Accra, where he was treated and discharged. The second phase of the engagement began in Goaso in the Ahafo Region, followed by Sunyani in the Bono Region, and ended in Techiman, Bono East Region at the Encom Hotel with over 100 participants.
