Some quick facts about the 1 student 1 tablet project under President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia
 

  1. A total of 1.3m tablets is currently available in stock to ensure every student gets 1.
  2. The tablets have a hybrid power system, electric charging and solar system to ensure that all period round it can be used. 
  3. The tablets can be used both online and offline 
  4. The tablets can support SIM cards and operate on an Android 12 operating system. It comes with hardware components that support its use.
  5. All tablets are programmed with offline textbooks, lesson notes, past questions and other research materials to make learning easy.
  6. All tablets have lesson videos and can connect to online learning platforms and lessons. You can’t miss any topic with it.
  7. In the case of a missing tablet, all tablets would be insured, and each tablet has tracking software. The tablet can be disenabled in case it is not found.
  8. We have set up 24/7 online and in-person support, at 216 district KATCare partner shops to provide support to all our customers. Gov’t also create support through PwDs to be trained and assigned to beneficiary schools to provide support, with mobile solar kiosks.
  9. Each student will keep his/her tablet throughout the study. Upon completion, the tablet must be returned to the schools, they are properties of the school 
  10. Screen size 10.1"inch; RAM 4GB; Storage 128GB; Battery capacity is 3.7V / 8000mAH lasting 7-8hrs; Each tablet has a pre-installed Learning Mgt System (LMS). The platform is available both online and offline. All currently approved content by NaCCA hasbeen uploaded on the platform.
