The Paramount Chief of the Sagnarigu Traditional Area, Sagnar Naa Ambassador Yakubu Abdulai has donated an amount of twenty thousand Ghana cedis (GHC 20,000) to the University for Development Studies Endowment Fund, (UDSEF). The donation was in fulfillment of a promise made by him during the Launch of the fund in many well-wishers who were present pledged various amounts of money amounting to a total of One hundred and Forty Thousand Ghana Cedis (GHC 140,000). The cash donation was received on behalf of the University, by the Director of Finance, Dr. Mohammed Hardi Shaibu, and the Director of ICT, Dr. Abdul Wahid Mohammed. Ghana Teacher Prize, an award scheme instituted to honour outstanding teachers annually is to be held this year in Tamale.   At a planning committee meeting held in the month of February, 2022, Tamale was proposed as the venue for this year’s Ghana Teacher Prize.
