70 UK armoured vehicles to support security in Northern Ghana

The United Kingdom (UK) is supporting Ghana with 70 Husky armoured vehicles for security operations in the northern parts of Ghana. The UK Minister for Africa, Vicky Ford has arrived in Ghana to announce the new UK-Ghana defence deal. The Husky is a medium-armoured high-mobility tactical support vehicle. ' See something, Say something' Ghana has launched a public campaign on terrorism alertness dubbed, "See something, say something" as part of efforts to help deal with the terrorists threat in the West African sub-region. Within the first quarter of 2022, the African continent has experienced about 346 terrorists attacks in various countries. Chief of Sagnarigu donates GHc20k to UDS Endowment Fund

The Paramount Chief of the Sagnarigu Traditional Area, Sagnar Naa Ambassador Yakubu Abdulai has donated an amount of twenty thousand Ghana cedis (GHC 20,000) to the University for Development Studies Endowment Fund, (UDSEF). The donation was in fulfillment of a promise made by him during the Launch of the fund in many well-wishers who were present pledged various amounts of money amounting to a total of One hundred and Forty Thousand Ghana Cedis (GHC 140,000). The cash donation was received on behalf of the University, by the Director of Finance, Dr. Mohammed Hardi Shaibu, and the Director of ICT, Dr. Abdul Wahid Mohammed. Dr Shaibu, while commending the Sagnar Naa for being true to his word, requested his representative, Garizie Naa Alhassan Andani to convey the gratitude of the University to the Paramount Chief. Creating screenshots is a useful thing. Except that when a person takes a screenshot of correspondence, not everyone will like it. After all, it may contain confidential information. That's why there is an option in the Telegram app to disable the creation of screenshots.  To disable screenshots in Telegram:    1️⃣ Go to the Settings of the Telegram messenger ➡️ "Privacy and security".    2️⃣ Select "Passcode Lock", enable Passcode by coming up with and entering the access code to the application.    3️⃣ Disable "Show Content" and restart the app.

  Imagine a situation where someone grabs your unlocked phone 📱 and does not want to give it back.  It could be your friend or an intruder. What to do in this situation?  There are a lot of options, but one of them is to enable the function of locking the phone with the voice in advance:    1️⃣ Open iPhone Settings .    2️⃣ Go to " Universal Access ".    3️⃣ Select " Voice Control ." You can then say " Lock screen " when you are near the phone📱. As a result, the person who took possession of your phone will not be able to do anything with it, as the smartphone unlock window will be displayed. Use it!

Ghana Teacher Prize, an award scheme instituted to honour outstanding teachers annually is to be held this year in Tamale.   At a planning committee meeting held in the month of February, 2022, Tamale was proposed as the venue for this year’s Ghana Teacher Prize. This has subsequently been approved by the Honourable Minister of Education Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum.
