Court places injunction on the distribution and deduction of 30% laptop fee


Two teacher unions ( Innovative teachers and ATAG ) secure court injunction on the distribution of one teacher one Laptop and deduction of teacher's professional allowance.

In a recent press release, these unions filed a law suit against the deduction from the teacher's professional allowance

TheGhana Education Service and the Ministry of Education with the government of Ghana has secured a total of 350000 laptops for pre-tertiary teachers

However, teachers will be requiredto pay 30% of the fee which was to be deducted from the 2021 professional allowance

In a press release, the Innovative Teachers union and the AtAG has secured an injunction on the deduction.
